Listing terms

Audio Commons is an index, not a host. No recording is stored or served here. Every listing links to the work at its home — the Internet Archive, LibriVox, or the creator's own page.

A listing is not an endorsement, a review, or a guarantee of quality or accuracy.

Seed listings are public-domain works. The rights basis for each listing is stated on its page.

Modern works are listed from the creator's own public pages or official feeds, or when the creator submits them. By submitting, the creator states that the work is theirs to share, and agrees to hold Audio Commons harmless for listing it in good faith on that statement.

Any listing may be removed at any time, for any reason. A listing reported as infringing comes down while the report is reviewed — see the takedown page.

Audio Commons keeps no listener accounts and collects no listener data.
